    Service Design and Transition Manager - Financial Services

    £750 - £820 per day (total Umbrella rate)

    Job Description

    A Financial Services Company based in the City of London is currently seeking a Service Design and Transition Manager to help with the implementation of both technical and business-led projects and meeting the operational acceptance criteria within the business.

    The Service Design and Transition Manager is responsible for acting as the work stream lead for the transition of services, ensuring that relevant transition criteria are agreed, managed and delivered for specified services prior to their live implementation as well as identifying and managing any identified risks.

    This person will work closely with the with a variety of stakeholder groups including Application Support, Infrastructure, Operations & Engineering (IOE), and Capacity & Tooling teams to ensure prerequisites for project design are met, and with a wide range of stakeholders to support the successful operational readiness of projects.

    Key Skills required:

    • Have industry best practice in Service Design and Service Transition
    • Effective communication, facilitation and analytical skills - ability to present ideas clearly, concisely and comfortably.
    • Experience of managing service transitions/ projects following recognised project methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2 / APM / PMI /Agile / Waterfall)
    • Previous exposure to service readiness, introduction or transition management roles
    • Established interpersonal skills, initiative, communication, negotiating, influencing and team working
