Linux Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) - FInancial Services

Job Description

A leading Financial Services Company based in the City of London is currently seeking a Linux Site Reliability Engineer to join their EMEA Technology team.

The SRE team are responsible for delivering continuous improvement, automation and self-service offerings to operational teams across the organisation.

This person will be responsible for the reliability and efficiency of infrastructure through the delivery of common, repeatable tools and processes that greatly reduce the amount of toil operations must perform. The position is heavily weighted towards project based work, whilst providing some ad-hoc specialist support when required.

From a technology perspective, the environment is extremely diverse but seeking someone with solid Linux Engineering skills (performance tuning, kernal, etc) and Ansible Tower, so this person should have exposure to AWX or Power.

The team have a lot of projects in the pipeline to continually move towards an automated environment and committed to bringing on new tools, and this team provide influence over this. This person will be involved in designing and setting up monitoring tools but in a core engineering role so no monitoring duties.

Ideally looking for someone to be in the office two days a week in their London office.
