    Desktop Support Analyst

    Sterlings are engaged with a Financial Services company that are seeking a Desktop Support Analyst to join the team that provides support to all lines of business in London and across Europe.

    This person will be responsible for resolving incidents and undertaking problem management to provide technical hands-on support across Trade/Non-Trade, VIP, Mobility and Tech Bar. You will initiate and take part in group meetings for problem solving, decision making and task implementation, and be able to act as point of contact for escalations and see through to resolution by implementing service improvements and relevant planning.

    You will have:

    - In-depth technical knowledge in end user technologies such as Citrix, O365, OS, MFA, and collaboration tools

    - Excellent customer service, work ethic and high attention to detail

    - Strong verbal, written and relationship skills used to interact with all levels of technical and non-technical people

    - Excellent planning, organisational and prioritising skills to ensure work is completed on time

    - Strong team player with a natural mentality to achieve team goals

    - Ability to work under pressure

    - Scripting knowledge in PowerShell/automation

    This is a permanent position operating on a hybrid setup (office based in London).

      Our client are the market leader of derivatives management software to global Asset Managers and Hedge Funds. And they are growing, not only their sales and product divisions, but the presales function that works so clsoely in conjunction with them.

      This is a particularly exciting opportunity becuase they are really looking for someone with experience of bringing presales structure and process, to influence and hold people accountable during the presale process to prospective clients. This position would be the Lead Presales person for EMEA.

      The business are established, reputable and global in outreach. They have a fantastic partnerships programme behind them where they partner with the top 4 buy-side software companies.

      You will have to have previous experience of presales - specifically for derivatives solutions for buy-side clients. You will therefore have proven experience of product demos, proof of concepts, RFI's/RFP's, helping to close out sales pipeline - through detailed understanding of derivatives software used by Asset Managers or Hedge Funds and the real business problems that the software solves.

      Our client are a highly regarded, and already globally-renowned, UK based RegTech business providing innovative regulatory reporting software solutions, primarily to tier 1 and 2 Investment Banks.

      This is an exciting time to join them. They are embarking on setting-up a presales function from scratch globally, starting from their global HQ in London. So you will be the first onboard to help with the sales effort of closing prospects and pipeline utilising your fantastic POC capabilities, product knowledge, and functional understanding of the regulatory reporting requirements that European Banks face. Secondly, you will be helping to form the presales blue-print and structure around presale client engagement through to close.

      You will have previous experience of (ideally) regulatory reporting presales aligned to either Capital Reporting or Liquidity Reporting, or experience of working in capital or liquidity reporting consulting/management consulting for a consultancy firm who can transition into RegTech presales. Alternatively you may be working in product or implementation and wanting to make the move into strategic client acquisition and presales.

      A fantastic opportunity for an exciting and fast-growing consultancy has come up for a Senior Regulatory Reporting Consultant. As they continue their expansion in the UK, they are seeking knowledgeable consultants who have the desire to be part of building something special.

      This role will cover consulting, business analysis, and project management services to clients, leveraging knowledge and expertise of regulatory reporting jurisdictions, with a particular focus on COREP, FINREP, IFRS, EBA and BoE rules.

      As a senior consultant in the regulatory reporting practice you will work both independently and collaboratively with the project team on client engagements relating to regulatory reporting, helping clients overcome the challenges they are facing in the current environment.

      You will:

      • Contribute to projects by using your knowledge and experience of regulatory reporting in conjunction with financial services, business analysis, and project management.
      • Be able to use critical thinking skills to advise on best routes for clients in response to assessing their needs and gathering requirements.
      • Contribute to the broader practice via knowledge sharing, supporting marketing and business development efforts.
      • You will aid the company by identifying and engaging with your colleagues on a range of internal initiatives to support everything from business growth to culture.
      • Be a point of call for more junior members of the team and be able to advise them.

      You will have:

      • Experience in consulting within a financial services environment.
      • Knowledge of being in a client facing capacity, including project management, business analysis, and consulting.
      • Knowledge of regulations, specifically within COREP, FINREP, IFRS, EBA and BoE rules.
