    XBRL Software Engineer

    A leading FinTech specialising in regulatory technology is seeking an XBRL Software Engineer to develop and deploy fast and performant XBRL solutions through deep knowledge of XML data standards and commitment to excellence. As a company they enable financial firms to achieve regulatory intelligence that insulate them from regulatory change, and are looking for somebody that shares their vision of excelling at what they do.

    To equip them with the tools to achieve this, you will have the responsibility of working with a tight team of ambitious engineers writing Python code to prevent the next financial crisis. This will mostly involve work on the main product of the company, although there will also be involvement in occasional side projects.

    You will be:

    • Working on a complex B2B web application
    • Using best practices and writing tests to deliver high quality code
    • Participating in the full application lifecycle: write, test, deploy and maintain features
    • Building reusable code, libraries and APIs for future use
    • Collaborating with the product team and subject matter experts to deliver an awesome client experience
    • Staying up-to-date on emerging technologies, schemas and taxonomies, upstream open-source fixes and improvements
    • Automating everything

    You will have:

    • Experience working with XML (with xLink) or XBRL
    • Experience creating software in C , Java, C#, or Python
    • Energetic, self-directed, and motivated

    This is a permanent position based in the UK, with a remote work setup.

      A Bank based in the City of London is currently seeking an Application Support Team Lead to work across their Fixed Income Business.

      This position will own delivery of Production Application Support services to the Fixed Income Business, leveraging ITIL service management principles of Event, Incident, Problem and Change management.

      The Application Support Team Lead will look after multiple teams in multiple locations, ensuring the highest levels of service for Fixed Income Clients and applications across Commodities & Futures for Trading, Pricing and Risk management systems.

      Key areas of responsibility include people leadership, incident management and escalation experience, owning day-to-day operational support services, driving production stability, reliability and service excellence.

      Key Requirements:

      • Experience in IT with strong knowledge of Capital Markets including Fixed Income Products (FX, Cash, Derivatives, Structured Products, Commodities and Futures)
      • Team leadership experience in technology support of Capital Markets trading and related functions.
      • Knowledge of Fixed Income trading activities (Pricing, booking, execution, live risk, market risk, etc.), market data feeds
      • Knowledge of applications such as Murex, Bloomberg TOMS, Openlink, XTP, is highly desirable
      • The ability to face off to challenging trading clients.
      • Ability to manage the priorities and issues from trading desks and work across IT and external vendors to capture, track, status update and drive issues to resolution.
