    Service Delivery Manager

    Sterlings are partnered with a leading Financial Services organisation that are seeking a Service Delivery Manager to maximise the ongoing performance of their cross-functional software engineering teams, ensuring predictability, visibility, collaboration and high quality.

    This person will run delivery ceremonies, establish project backlogs, produce estimates, support forecasting and budgeting, and deliver commitments to the business on-time while minimising risks and surprises. They will thoroughly understand software engineering principles and methodologies, and how to utilise them effectively within a fast-paced and highly regulated business environment.

    Working closely with technology teams and stakeholders across the business, this person must be able to liaise and influence effectively across these different teams. In particular, the tech team will have a focus on deliverables around continuous improvement of API/ AWS/ integration of services.

    You will have:

    • Proven experience in leading high-performing software development teams.
    • Deep understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall, and different delivery frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, etc.
    • Experience with traditional project management practices such as estimation, budgeting, resource allocation, scope management, change management, risk management, escalation, etc.
    • Some previous experience Financial Services
    • Good understanding of software development technologies.
    • Proven, strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively in meetings, email and informal discussions.
    • Good presentation skills.
    • Strong time management skills.
    • Excellent organisational skills and ability to juggle multiple demands without missing deadlines.

    This is a permanent role based in Wimbledon with hybrid working setup.

      Our client are a highly regarded, and already globally-renowned, UK based RegTech business providing innovative regulatory reporting software solutions, primarily to tier 1 and 2 Investment Banks.

      This is an exciting time to join them. They are embarking on setting-up a presales function from scratch globally, starting from their global HQ in London.       A Bank in the City of London, is currently seeking an Enterprise Architect to join their Data Architecture team with a mandate to operate across the whole organisation (EMEA).

      The Architecture team have a remit to ensure technology strategies are met, setting tools & processes, workflows and visions for future state are delivered.

      There are 3 key Pillars, these include;

      • IT strategy and architecture future (2 year plans generally)
      • Project driven, providing high level design overview, looking at key components, producing summaries and next steps, ensure standards and security protocols are followed
      • Drive innovation across the business, ie AI, cloud. Most innovations have already been introduced, this team are involved in scaling this innovation internally

      The Enterprise Architect be working on multiple projects, not contributing to the actual design, but consulting with key stakeholder groups throughout the project lifecycle, being the point of reference at enterprise level to ensure the correct tools, processes, workflows and security protocols are in place.

      This person will also monitor industry innovations and trends, as well as guide and mentor other team members.

      Key requirements;

      • Extensive Enterprise Architect experience and ability to conduct design reviews
      • Hands-on experience of architecture modelling and associated tooling
      • Knowledge of the applications, services and processes used within a Banking organisation
      • Experience of designing complex technology solutions in a regulated environment
      • Good understanding of software development practices, and project delivery lifecycles
      • Expertise in Cloud based tools and technology architecture review

      The company operate a hybrid working policy with 3 days in the office.
