Senior PMO Analyst
A leading Financial Services Company that provides an array of services to global clients, including lending, wealth management services, and securities trading, is currently seeking a Senior PMO Analyst.
This person will analyse the resource demand to deliver the change and technology portfolio, and thus are looking for a PMO that has worked in a tech capacity. Generating and securing agreement of options to balance resource supply and demand to demonstrate that the interlocked portfolio plan is achievable across the Retail Technology & Change Portfolio to help build and maintain successful resource MI.
This role will be instrumental in providing oversight, guidance and support to Retail Technology and Change through pro-active resource management. Additional responsibilities will be to drive the dynamic development and creation of training and development requirements across the Retail function as well as oversee PO Management and vendor administration.
This person will:
- Facilitate and define new solutions to improve overall resource management within the Retail Technology and Change function.
- Collaboratively work with Retail resource managers to ensure they optimise headcount to increase utilisation whist balancing the impact on projects and conduct regular portfolio reviews to ensure fair allocation of supply and demand.
- Interpret and analyse MI to provide trends, identify dependencies and spot opportunities for resource optimisation.
- Coordinate and lead the management of the Retail Technology and Change Resource process and support wider Resource processes for the Retail portfolio of projects (investment and non-investment)
- Works across Retail to establish resource portfolio health checks and deep dives, ensuring projects and programmes across Technology and Change are run in accordance with governance framework
- Ensure by planning ahead that the necessary resources are made available in time for project mobilisation.
You will have:

- Excellent interpersonal skills: the ability to adapt communication style to suit the level of the audience.
- Excellent presentation skills and the ability to translate complex information into simple messages
This is a permanent position based in Wimbledon operating on a hybrid basis.

Network Engineer (Projects) - Financial Services
Sterlings are partnered with a Financial Services Company who are currently seeking Network Engineer to join their team in London.
The Network Engineer will deliver connectivity services for the company and is responsible for ensuring the availability of LAN/WAN/DC network services.
This role is primarily a project focused role providing Network delivery expertise for the infrastructure and services that underpin the network, application and member services.
The Network Engineer will work closely with Network Architects and Project Managers to deploy project deliverables based on project timelines by proactively managing delivery criteria through change and service requests.
Experience Required;
- Solid experience working as a Network Projects Engineer, ideally with some Financial services experience
- Network Firewalls (Cisco ASA, Check Point, Fortinet).
- Load Balancers (A10, F5)
- Understanding and exposure to the following desirable:
- Cisco Wireless / DNA-C / ISE / DCNM, Arista CloudVision, Ansible for Network automation
- Understanding of the Solarwinds eco-system, in particular environment, diagnostics, reporting and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of ITILv3 methodologies including incident, problem and change management.
- Ideally CCNP qualified

Finance Business Analyst - Investment Bank
Sterlings are currently partnered with an Invesment Bank, based in the City of London, who are currently seeking a Finance Business Analyst to join their Technology team.
The Business Analyst will be working on Finance specific projects across the Technology function of the Bank, performing requirements gathering and compiling formal business requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
The Business Analyst will be expected to support both Project Managers and business partners through SME and problem skills, whilst building positive collaborative working relationships with Technology, Change Managers and Business stakeholders.
There is a lot of scope for progression and development, and this person will be working on both UK specific projects as well as EMEA and Internally based ones.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Solid communication skills - both written and oral
- Delivery track record and someone who can really take ownership of leading the Finance and Data initiatives
- Confidence and gravitas required to interact with senior managers within the bank.
- Business analysis experience working for a bank or consultancy.
- A thorough understanding of the project life-cycle and experience of compiling proposal, scope, requirements and testing documents.
- Experience of Regulatory Capital and Liquidity measurement such as LCR and SA-CC, or UK and EMEA Finance regulations, for example, IFRS9, BCBS239 - all beneficial
- Understand the needs of a Finance organisation and be comfortable around financial reporting disclosures, month-end processes, year-end P&L accounting, financial adjustments.
- Understanding of Subledger and General Ledger applications for financial accounting beneficial
- Have working knowledge with financial investment products such as Vanilla IR & CR
