    Security Engineer - Financial Services

    A Financial Services company based in the City of London is seeking a Security Engineer to sit with the Engineering team to manage, deploy, and configure security tooling, and will have worked with relevant security tooling before. Upcoming projects will assist the business and wider IT groups, with projects including the implementation of threat detection apps for posture management.

    Generally this person will be involved in onboarding security events into SIEM as well as onboarding privileged access management. Looking for somebody from a Security Engineering or DevSecOps background that has strong experience in writing Python code for automation.

    The technical environment for this will include products such as Cyberark, Excor, Carbon black, Mcafee, and Zscaler, and experience in these will be highly desirable.

    You will:

    • Implement and manage a set of security products that will support the business and technical requirements.
    • Manage security change requests and tickets in line with the LME Change management process across all environments as appropriate.
    • Support disaster recovery and business continuity processes.
    • Onboard security events into SIEM and privileged access management.
    • Manage security tools and technology platforms
    • Be able to liaise with stakeholders to manage lifecycle and operating costs.
    • Incident handling for security products (e.g. troubleshooting, hardware parts replacement, software bug fixes, vendor support engagement).
    • Ensure that the Security Engineering function are able to evidence relevant audit, regulatory and compliance requirements.

    Your experience:

    • Have a strong background in Security Engineering or DevSecOps.
    • Experience in working for a Financial Services institution.
    • Have scripting skills in Python for automation.
    • Have worked in an Agile environment.
    • Encryption and authentication technologies (e.g. Certificates, TLS, Kerberos)
    • Build and deploy pipeline technologies, such as Atlassian stack and Ansible or equivalent.
    • Experience in secrets management and privileged access management
    • Restful API, network and configuration protocols and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, JSON, YAML).
    • Experience in both Windows and Linux operating systems.

    This is a permanent position based in London, operating on a hybrid work setup.

      A Bank based in the City of London is currently seeking an Application Support Team Lead to work across their Fixed Income Business.

      This position will own delivery of Production Application Support services to the Fixed Income Business, leveraging ITIL service management principles of Event, Incident, Problem and Change management.

      The Application Support Team Lead will look after multiple teams in multiple locations, ensuring the highest levels of service for Fixed Income Clients and applications across Commodities & Futures for Trading, Pricing and Risk management systems.

      Key areas of responsibility include people leadership, incident management and escalation experience, owning day-to-day operational support services, driving production stability, reliability and service excellence.

      Key Requirements:

      • Experience in IT with strong knowledge of Capital Markets including Fixed Income Products (FX, Cash, Derivatives, Structured Products, Commodities and Futures)
