Salesforce CPQ Solutions Architect

A leading platform provider that enables electronic trading for the global capital markets industry is seeking a Salesforce CPQ Solutions Architect. The company's award-winning platform delivers advanced tools for trade execution and order management, market data solutions, analytics, trade surveillance, risk management, and infrastructure services to the world's leading sell-side institutions, buy-side firms, and exchanges.

This Salesforce CPQ Solutions Architect will propose, design, develop, test, and implement CPQ solutions on the Salesforce platform to support the sales/quoting processes while collaborating closely with business stakeholders to gather and analyse CPQ-related requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

You will be able to customize and configure Salesforce CPQ to meet specific business needs, including creating product catalogue structures, pricing rules, and approval processes and integrate Salesforce CPQ with other systems and applications to ensure data consistency and streamline end-to-end business processes.

You will have:

• Strong experience in Salesforce Architecture and Development, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and declarative tools (Process Builder, Workflow Rules, Validation Rules, etc.).
• Proficiency in Salesforce configuration, customization, and security settings. Solid understanding of Salesforce data model, data migration, and integration techniques.
• Familiarity with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular or React.
• Knowledge of Salesforce best practices and coding standards. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I or II are a plus. Experience with .NET (Framework/Core), C#, ASP.NET are a plus.

This is a contract position based in Chicago, based on a hybrid work setup.
