Regulatory Reporting Test Analyst - Financial Services

A leading Financial Services Company is currently seeking a Test Analyst to join their EMEA technology team.

The team works on multiple projects as part of a well-established QA team to test functional aspects of various IT systems. This particular position will focus on their Regulatory Reporting platfrom.

Typically, solutions delivered to the business are complex and span across technologies, Operating Systems, networks and hardware; frequently the applications have a high degree of criticality to the core business of the customer.

The role will include the analyse of business and functional requirements and review functional and technical specifications.

Other duties include the execution of tasks/assignments, concurrently on one or more projects, according to project plans, to meet schedule, budget, quality, and other applicable requirements as well as maintaining Test execution scripts, documentation and results in the appropriate testing tools, whilst complying with the SDLC processes.

Requirements:

· Experience working as a functional tester within the Financial Services industry

· Knowledge and previous experience of testing MIFID (or equivalent alternative), Regulatory Reporting

· Previous experience in working with regulatory projects, liaising with regulators (Eg: DTCC, FCA) for submission of reports and verifying the feedback

· Strong experience working with various report formats such as CSV, XML, JSON and their respective schema definitions

· Experience of using various interface logs and database records for debugging issues

· Strong SQL skills

· Exposure to automated testing required, particularly with BDD / TDD Frameworks

· Previous working experience of using Cucumber beneficial
