Network Operations Shift Lead

An investment bank is currently seeking a Networking Shift Lead to join the team. This team is a global team in nature, and are responsible for the operational engineering and leadership of networking solutions, including strategic and tactical direction for information technology within the Network Services environment.

This candidate will have Networking experience that will have some team leadership experience too. There is an opportunity to work across other elements of their networking and security infrastructure (including Firewalls, SD-WAN, Load Balancers, Wireless etc.). You will work closely with global peers, strategic partners, project delivery and Engineering teams to ensure continued operational stability but still remain hands-on with the team.

You will have:

• Experience in managing or leading network operations or in a related environment
• A strong technical background in network operations
• In-depth knowledge of ITIL including Incident, Problem and Change Management
• Exposure to risk management, audit and information security will be an advantage
• Excellent analytical problem-solving abilities, verbal communication, and strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively collaborate with others, initiate action and adapt to change
• Ability to make tough decisions and accept challenging assignments

This is a hybrid position that is part of a shift pattern (day times only as part of a follow the sun model).
