    Job Description

    Markit EDM Developer - Financial Services

    A leading Financial Services Company is currently seeking a EDM Developer to help design and develop EDM solutions as part of multiple initiatives across the organisation.

    This person will also ensure the solution follows and complies with the technology defined policies, SDLC and best practices as well as ensuring designs meet customer requirements and standards.

    Other duties include acting as data support analyst to support a wide range of solutions for various business areas across the EMEA region with consideration for the supportability of these systems to reduce ongoing support costs.

    Skill required:

    · EDM v17 and above

    · SQL v2012

    · Knowledge of the IT infrastructure (ie hardware, databases, operating systems, local area networks) and the IT applications and service processes used within a Financial Services organisation.

    · Detailed knowledge of software development and maintenance methods, tools and techniques.

    · Demonstrates an understanding of strategic issues, and is an authority on the systems development life-cycle and typical problems associated with the implementation of information systems

    · In-depth knowledge of Business Analyst and Systems Analyst practices as well as great understanding of Banking business operations is essential.
