    Business Analyst - Financial Services

    A technology-driven Financial Services company is currently seeking a Business Analyst to join the Product Team to focus on delivering business objectives. This person will work collaboratively with developers, quality assurance, and data teams to standardise processes, with a particular focus on implementing Agile methodologies.

    Projects that this person will be involved in includes a new cash management product, and will be implementing the regulatory change that needs to be done across LTA and ISA reforms affecting the business. Along with this will also be BAU work in a scrum team, tackling regulatory changes that are constantly required.

    You will have:

    • Financial Services experience and ideally exposure to software platforms.
    • Experience in Agile methodologies
    • Process Engineering experience - As is & To Be
    • Internal stakeholder management experience
    • Third party management skills
    • Desirable to have technical skills such as an understanding on SQL, Azure beneficial but not a requirement.

    This is a permanent role located in Bath, operating on a hybrid work setup.

      A Bank in the City of London is currently seeking a Java Developer to work across their messaging systems, that underpin a number of their trading applications.

      The Java developer will be involved in the design, development and maintenance of middleware solutions using Java and integration frameworks such as Apache Camel.

      The team also provide robust, reliable and scalable message flows and routes, ensuring strict adherence to change control processes and the SDLC.

      The Java developer will also be involved in the integration of various systems and applications using IBM MQ, as well as developing unit tests and integration tests for all changes using frameworks such as Junit and Cucumber.

      Requirements:

      • Strong knowledge of core Java (collections, concurrency, NIO, etc.)
      • Experience with Java frameworks Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate
      • Understanding of and experience with design patterns and OO principles
      • Understanding of Apache Camel integration patterns and best practices is beneficial
      • Experience of working with IBM MQ configuration, management and troubleshooting
      • Experienced with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
      • Knowledge of database technologies (SQL) and ORM frameworks (Hibernate)

      The main purpose of this position is to manage the technical delivery of various cybersecurity projects and contribute to the overall success of the Cybersecurity programme function by ensuring that projects are delivered according to scope, on time and within budget, as well as assisting the programme manager by providing programme support activities.

      This person will be involved in managing cybersecurity technology projects such as implementation of DLP, Cyber infrastructure replacement, Cloud monitoring tools etc.

      The wider department covers cyber security strategy maintenance and tactical planning and operations to provide IT Security protection, governance, risk management and reporting.

      Requirements:

      * Experience in managing projects with broad scope, ambiguity, and high degree of difficulty

      * Experience in managing cybersecurity technology projects such as implementation of DLP, Cyber infrastructure replacement, Cloud monitoring tools etc.

      * Demonstrable proficiency in a wide range of information IT security technologies and embedded security; at the minimum knowledge must cover key cybersecurity domains such as Identity and Access Management, Threat Intelligence, Risk Evaluation, Security Assessment/Testing, Incidence Management and Vendor/Cloud products assessment

      * Possessing high level of analytical ability where problems are typically unusual and difficult
