Active Directory Engineer
An exciting opportunity at an Investment Bank based in London is available for an Active Directory Engineer to support the creation of a strategic direction for the Identity Management domain and associated tool set, together with supporting and maintaining overall service health and vendor management.
This position is concentrated primarily around MS Active Directory, including the technical documentation, maintenance of platform standards, and planning of technical direction and strategy. This person will oversee the day-to-day platform management and the coaching on best practice of operating the identity process.
The role requires an excellent team player; a self-starter with a motivation and desire to seek out and deliver improvements to document and promote future platform opportunities for approval and funding. From a technical standpoint, you must be able to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Identity Management, Microsoft Active Directory on premise and cloud-based Azure Active Directory.
Responsibilities:
- Main escalation point for SME 3rd line BAU incidents and tasks for in-depth troubleshooting and analysis.
- Assist and advise Team Lead on technical direction for Identity Management.
- Create and maintain technical guides to convey fact, simply and effectively to both peers and those less experienced.
- Daily management and maintenance of the Identity Management platform, ensuring service availability, health and performance monitoring, and the maintenance of operational & technical documentation.
- Balance technical fact/opinion against business risk/delivered service to provide well thought through guidance to support technical staff with incident, problem investigation and project decisions.
- Produce and interpret service performance and security data to provide analysis for investigations; baseline performance and trend reports for management to highlight areas of focus, improvement, and ongoing change.
Skills:
- Microsoft Active Directory and Windows Server
- Azure Active Directory
- Ability to create, edit, and troubleshoot Powershell Scripts
- Quest AD management tools (for example, Quest Change Auditor, Quest Recovery Manager) experience is beneficial
- Single Sign On configuration methods and protocols is beneficial
- Excellent communication skills
- A proactive, motivated approach.
- The ability to operate with urgency and prioritise work accordingly.
This is a permanent position based in London, operating on a hybrid work setup.

Senior Presales Solutions Consultant (RegTech)
Our client are a highly regarded, and already globally-renowned, UK based RegTech business providing innovative regulatory reporting software solutions, primarily to tier 1 and 2 Investment Banks.
This is an exciting time to join them. They are embarking on setting-up a presales function from scratch globally, starting from their global HQ in London. So you will be the first onboard to help with the sales effort of closing prospects and pipeline utilising your fantastic POC capabilities, product knowledge, and functional understanding of the regulatory reporting requirements that European Banks face. Secondly, you will be helping to form the presales blue-print and structure around presale client engagement through to close.
You will have previous experience of (ideally) regulatory reporting presales aligned to either Capital Reporting or Liquidity Reporting, or experience of working in capital or liquidity reporting consulting/management consulting for a consultancy firm who can transition into RegTech presales. Alternatively you may be working in product or implementation and wanting to make the move into strategic client acquisition and presales.

A Bank in the City of London, is currently seeking an Enterprise Architect to join their Data Architecture team with a mandate to operate across the whole organisation (EMEA).
The Architecture team have a remit to ensure technology strategies are met, setting tools & processes, workflows and visions for future state are delivered.
There are 3 key Pillars, these include;
- IT strategy and architecture future (2 year plans generally)
- Project driven, providing high level design overview, looking at key components, producing summaries and next steps, ensure standards and security protocols are followed
- Drive innovation across the business, ie AI, cloud. Most innovations have already been introduced, this team are involved in scaling this innovation internally
The Enterprise Architect be working on multiple projects, not contributing to the actual design, but consulting with key stakeholder groups throughout the project lifecycle, being the point of reference at enterprise level to ensure the correct tools, processes, workflows and security protocols are in place.
This person will also monitor industry innovations and trends, as well as guide and mentor other team members.
Key requirements;
- Extensive Enterprise Architect experience and ability to conduct design reviews
- Hands-on experience of architecture modelling and associated tooling
- Knowledge of the applications, services and processes used within a Banking organisation
- Experience of designing complex technology solutions in a regulated environment
- Good understanding of software development practices, and project delivery lifecycles
- Expertise in Cloud based tools and technology architecture review
