    About the Role:

    As a Sales Development Representative, you'll play a key role in prospecting new business for the company. You will be the first point of contact for the new business opportunities. This is a prominent role that makes a direct and significant impact to the business.

    Responsibilities:

    • Schedule discovery calls for Account Executives through cold calling, emails, and social outreach to prospective customers.
    • Compose your own book of accounts and set the strategy for effective book management.
    • Strive for daily, weekly, and monthly demo goals while delivering an excellent experience for prospective clients.

      Our client are the market leader of derivatives management software to global Asset Managers and Hedge Funds. And they are growing, not only their sales and product divisions, but the presales function that works so clsoely in conjunction with them.

      This is a particularly exciting opportunity becuase they are really looking for someone with experience of bringing presales structure and process, to influence and hold people accountable during the presale process to prospective clients. This position would be the Lead Presales person for EMEA.

      The business are established, reputable and global in outreach. They have a fantastic partnerships programme behind them where they partner with the top 4 buy-side software companies.

      You will have to have previous experience of presales - specifically for derivatives solutions for buy-side clients. You will therefore have proven experience of product demos, proof of concepts, RFI's/RFP's, helping to close out sales pipeline - through detailed understanding of derivatives software used by Asset Managers or Hedge Funds and the real business problems that the software solves.

      Due to growth, Sterlings are partnered with a PE-backed technology provider of Data Analytics and intelligence solutions tailored to investors specialising in the global sub-investment grade credit markets.

      We are actively seeking an Account Manager who possesses substantial experience in managing Buyside clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the renewal process and maintaining robust relationships with a primarily European clientele consisting predominantly of hedge funds and asset managers.

      Key Responsibilities for the Account Manager Position:

      • Identifying and pursuing cross-selling opportunities within the existing client base to enhance product penetration and increase revenue.
      • Developing a deep understanding of client needs and aligning them with the appropriate data and research products and services.
      • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders in buy-side institutions such as hedge funds, asset managers, and private equity firms.
      • Collaborating with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to tailor offerings that meet the specific requirements of buyside clients.
      • Conducting regular client reviews to assess satisfaction, gather feedback on products, and adjust strategies as necessary to improve service and product offerings.
      • Leveraging market trends and client insights to influence the strategic direction of product enhancements and new product development.
      • Managing the complete sales cycle from prospecting to closing, including negotiation and contractual agreements.
      • Monitoring and reporting on sales performance metrics to ensure targets are met and identifying areas for improvement in the sales process.

      The salary range for this position is £60,000 to £65,000 with a target bonus of £30,000.
