    Account Executive - Financial Institutions

    £65000 - £80000 per annum commission (uncapped)

    Sterlings are currently working with an ever-growing, innovative technology company who are seeking a new business hunter to sell business intelligence products to tier-one financial institutions and Law firms.

    My client has transformed how financial and legal professionals access complex business information. As the market leader in credit intelligence (Leveraged Finance, Distressed securities, High-yield debt), They provide a stand-out team of journalists, financial & legal analysts, technologists, and data scientists to collect and process complex data into actionable intelligence. Working with leading Hedge funds, Investment banks, management consulting, and law firms, they depend on their intelligence platform to make better, quicker, and more confident decisions in pace with the fast-moving credit markets.

    The Role

    • As an AE, you'll be a brand ambassador, a product specialist, and a problem solver. You'll spend your time proactively connecting with institutional companies, including hedge funds, large asset managers, law firms, and investment banks.
    • Own the entire sales cycle, obtaining and closing new business opportunities to achieve and exceed your targets.

    Requirements

    • Experience in selling business intelligence/information services to financial institutions.
    • Great to have knowledge of Leveraged Finance, Distressed securities, High-yield debt and credit markets

    They are offering a 65/80K base salary with double OTE. Plus, other company benefits include Pension, Health insurance Gym perks and regular office get-togethers.

      Our client are the market leader of derivatives management software to global Asset Managers and Hedge Funds. And they are growing, not only their sales and product divisions, but the presales function that works so clsoely in conjunction with them.

      This is a particularly exciting opportunity becuase they are really looking for someone with experience of bringing presales structure and process, to influence and hold people accountable during the presale process to prospective clients. This position would be the Lead Presales person for EMEA.

      You will have to have previous experience of presales - specifically for derivatives solutions for buy-side clients.       We are actively seeking an Account Manager who possesses substantial experience in managing Buyside clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the renewal process and maintaining robust relationships with a primarily European clientele consisting predominantly of hedge funds and asset managers.

      Key Responsibilities for the Account Manager Position:

      • Identifying and pursuing cross-selling opportunities within the existing client base to enhance product penetration and increase revenue.
      • Developing a deep understanding of client needs and aligning them with the appropriate data and research products and services.
      • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders in buy-side institutions such as hedge funds, asset managers, and private equity firms.
      • Collaborating with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to tailor offerings that meet the specific requirements of buyside clients.
      • Conducting regular client reviews to assess satisfaction, gather feedback on products, and adjust strategies as necessary to improve service and product offerings.
      • Leveraging market trends and client insights to influence the strategic direction of product enhancements and new product development.
      • Managing the complete sales cycle from prospecting to closing, including negotiation and contractual agreements.
      • Monitoring and reporting on sales performance metrics to ensure targets are met and identifying areas for improvement in the sales process.

      The salary range for this position is £60,000 to £65,000 with a target bonus of £30,000.
